About a month ago now, we posted a audio clip of Gayle King, on her radio show of the same name, raving about our #newpizza and Pizza Turnaround. The 4 anchors of Washington DC’s local Fox news show held their own comprehensive Pizza Taste Test between our #newpizza, Papa John’s, Pizza Hut, and a local shop. Watch the taste test and see which one was their favorite, at the My FOX DC site.

Even before we ever beat them, Papa John’s stated in a court of law that their slogan, “Better ingredients. Better pizza.” was puffery, meaning it’s just opinion and not fact. Boy, were they right. In a recent national independent taste test people picked our new pepperoni pizza, sausage pizza and extra-cheese pizza as tasting better than Papa John’s by a wide margin. That’s not puffery. To greet the lucky fans that got to go to Miami, Domino’s has prepared a special welcome. 60 Domino’s Pizza logos have been strategically “blasted” onto sidewalks in and around Miami with the help of a high-pressure water sprayer. Until February 24, the first 250 people who submit a photo of themselves with a GreenGraffiti sidewalk Domino’s logo, similar to the photo above, to Domino’s Twitter account @dominos could win a large, one-topping pizza. Be sure to tag your submission with #pizzapic to be entered.

Two weeks ago, on CNBC’s “Mad Money,” Jim Cramer brought his trademark high energy to the topic of Domino’s, our #newpizza, and this very site. He even performed some unique #newpizza taste tests.

Wednesday night on The Colbert Report, our ‘Pizza Turnaround’ and #newpizza were fodder for an entire hilarious segment, and we love it. Not only were we named his Alpha Dog of the Week, but he said taking a bite was “like an angel giving birth in your mouth.” It doesn’t get much better than that.
